hello england

france was quite lovely
plently of wine drinking, dancing until our feet wanted to fall off, climbing 50ft rope ladders, late night swimming, falling over fences and down hills, meeting some interesting people and games of truth or dare.

busy days

this would be nicole & i on friday night avec le vin et baileys, yum.
friday
town and then chat on the bench with elena & amy. followed by denny's 60th at the cricket club, where we panicked about not being served, danced with den & walked home bare foot.
saturday
savvas & i went to woburn safari park. i got ridiculosly excited about seeing the 'giraffeys' and monkeys climbing over the car. after getting home, got ready and went to amy's for a little gathering. only a small thing of 8 of us, but it was quite nice tbh, playing articulate and lovely little drinking game
sunday
rushed to work after a missed buss and an arguement with the moj. gossiped with jess after not having seen her for weeks and then came home at half 2 and slept.
a pretty lovely weekend if you ask me.
this week has been pretty okay so far also
monday, i worked again and then went to wagamama's with the 'girls'. and today, driving lesson, and then saw fic and devin :)

babyfood

it might be a little strange but i've developed a little obsession with baby food.

not all baby food because well have you seen the flavours some of those things come in (casserole, bolognaise, etc) and i don't really fancy that. its just the fruity ones that i really enjoy :) its probably quite handy in that case that my sister also has a thing for it at the moment as yesterday she went and bought us 10 jars and also there only 57 calories a jarr!

i might have some now actually, red fruit and apple compote here i comeee :)

hyde park

i plan to keep this post short and sharp.

but today was quite spendid and the first day of the holidays, i actually felt as if it was the summer. i'm guessing this is because it was actually bloody hot up in london today.
laura, katie and i went to primark to buy some dressing up bits for laura's birthday which we will be celebrating whilst in france. went away with a bright pink visor and long socks, we will look very very cool okay?! now just off out for a stroll with amy, as i have run out of moneys and cannot afford to do anything but walk this evening.

ttfn :)

october

so my auntie is having a great big bash at some lovely posh hotel for her 40th in october which i am getting quite excited about.
i expect the evening will be filled with lots of delicious food, everyone looking dressed up and splendid, too much wine, alot of photographs and non-stop dancing. whats not to like about an evening like that right?

one problemo, however, is that i am in need of a black dress to wear. so as of saturday, i am a massive search. found this one is fcuk but its pretty pricey and the picture does it no justice

october will bring further fun to me as its just been confirmed that i will be back in Portugal.

bring on october

summer nights?

went to an event called 'summer nights' last night but it was hardly a very summery night or a very good one to tell the truth.
made quite a large effort to get ready and now feel like it was completly wasted. the rain did not stop pouring, many of the people looked about 14 years old, alcohol was not being served to anyone & all of the pictures (all ten of them, all taken at harrys beforehand) were rather disgusting.

to make this summer even better, all morning i have been trying to tidy the house before my mum gets home in about 2 hours. so far all ive managed to get done is the washing up and one set of washing. now for the bins, tidying of the front room, sorting out the fridge, drying up and putting away and a lovely little trip to tesco.

a fun summer or what?

washing up & pigeons

today was the first time i have done the washing up without being asked. this is probably because my mum is away, the kitchen was looking awfully trampy and i ran out of glasses.
there's alot of other things i should start to do really too (putting the bins out, hoovering, cleaning up sick etc) but i think i shall leave that to friday morning.

the rest of my day involved me and charlotte going down to oxford street and covent garden. lack of money meant that neither of us could really buy anything (asides from charlottes book), so we watched some street entertainment and got a little pissed off with a small child who kept feeding the pigeons.

i'm pretty sure thats all i have to say as i'm not a very interesting person
bye bye :)

goodbye, july

and now its august. this year has seriously flown by
july was a pretty good month on a whole, nothing to complain about really.

the highlights
a party with possibly a little too much drama but alot of dancing
the start of summer and six weeks off school
evenings spent with a bottle of wine or two (not alone)
and a week spent in france.

France was rather lovely and it was certainly nice to get out of Enfield for a week. Katy and I spent our mornings, generally being a little bit quiet and grumpy (we are not morning people). Once the morning was over and we got a bit more life into us, we spent alot of time messing around, reading, doing sudoku's, sunbathing, etc. Found a bar down the road where we spent many-a-euro, went to the circus which was really rather impressive (there were lions, tigers, camels, ostriches, horses and a zebra), got addicted to gambling machines and had strange late night/early morning hyperness where the majority of things were funny or seemed like a good idea, climbing out of the window for example.

Pictures are far more exciting than my waffle
